Knees can see forces from 2 up to 5 times your body weight with physical activity. By losing 10 pounds you can take 30 pounds of force off your knees.

Hydrate before during and after warm weather exercise. When running drink 10 to 15 oz. of water 15 minutes prior to running, and every 15 minutes during your run.

Change your running shoes every 300 miles.

Injury Prevention Seminar for Dancers, between theages 9 -18, to educate them on how to evaluate and maintain their own bodies, assess body risks, and learn techniques to prevent injuries and long-term rehabilitation. Space is limited so call to reserve your spot.

 Over 75% of dancers will receive an injury in their lifetime that will require some form of rehabilitation. With the proper body maintenance, many common joint and muscle injuries can be avoided. Young dancers need to understand their growing bodies, learn proper training techniques, along with nutrition, hydration and more, to stay in top performing condition and command center stage.
